The study emphasizes aligning system behavior with users' cognitive capabilities and limitations. It examines how information is presented, how tasks are modeled, and how feedback, control, and automation affect cognitive load, situational awareness, explainability, and error management. Methods include cognitive task analysis, cognitive modeling, usability testing, and studies of mental workload. The goal is to create interfaces and systems that reduce unnecessary effort, support fast and accurate decision making, and adapt to individual differences.
