VMHn
VMHn refers to the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus, a neuronal cluster in the ventromedial region of the mammalian hypothalamus. It is part of the mediobasal hypothalamus, located near the third ventricle and in a position that allows integration of hormonal and sensory signals related to energy balance and autonomic regulation. The VMH contains several subregions, including ventrolateral and dorsomedial components, which differ in connectivity and function.
