Uhanens
Uhanens is a genus of small, ground-dwelling birds belonging to the family Thraupidae, commonly known as tanagers. These birds are native to South America, primarily found in the Andean region. They are typically insectivorous, foraging for insects and other small invertebrates in the undergrowth and on the forest floor. Uhanens species are characterized by their relatively drab plumage, often featuring shades of brown, gray, and olive, which provides effective camouflage in their natural habitat.
The genus Uhanens currently comprises only one recognized species, Uhanens uropygialis, also known as the Rufous-rumped
