Trysilfjellet

Trysilfjellet is a mountain located in the municipality of Trysil in Innlandet county, Norway. It is a prominent landmark in the Trysil region and is particularly known for its extensive outdoor recreation opportunities. The mountain is characterized by its relatively gentle slopes on the western side, which makes it suitable for various activities, while the eastern side is steeper and more rugged.

The primary attraction at Trysilfjellet is the Trysil ski resort, one of Norway's largest and most popular destinations for downhill skiing and snowboarding. The resort offers a wide range of slopes catering to all skill levels, from beginner areas to challenging black runs. During the summer months, Trysilfjellet transforms into a hub for mountain biking, with dedicated trails and lifts for cyclists. Hiking is also a popular activity, with numerous trails leading to scenic viewpoints and the mountain's summit.

The summit of Trysilfjellet reaches an elevation of 1,132 meters (3,714 feet) above sea level. From the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding forests, lakes, and the wider Trysil valley.
