Trockenpulverlöschern
Trockenpulverlöschern, also known as dry powder extinguishers, are fire suppression devices that use a fine, dry chemical powder to interrupt the chemical reaction in a fire. The powder is typically a mixture of potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate or sodium bicarbonate with additives that improve its properties. When discharged, the powder forms a blanket over the flame, displacing oxygen and cooling the fuel, effectively putting out the fire.
These extinguishers are classified into three main classes according to the International Classification of Fire Extinguishers:
A key advantage of dry powder systems is their quick response and effectiveness even when the fire
