Tinningloben

Tinningloben is a term used in some niche metal finishing discussions to describe a combined tinning and lobed surface-texturing approach intended to improve solderability and joint strength on metal substrates. The word appears as a portmanteau of tinning and a lobed (lobation) texture, but there is no universally standardized definition for the term.

The status of tinningloben is introductory and regional rather than global.
