Tilgængelighed, often translated from Danish as accessibility, refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments so that people with disabilities can use them. The goal of tilgængelighed is to remove barriers and ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can perceive, understand, navigate, interact with, and contribute to the digital and physical world. This concept extends beyond just accommodating physical disabilities; it also encompasses considerations for cognitive, sensory, neurological, and age-related impairments.
