Taperelated is an adjective used to describe phenomena or processes that arise from or are influenced by tapering—an intentional, gradual reduction in size, dose, intensity, or frequency. In medicine and pharmacology, taperelated effects commonly refer to withdrawal symptoms that occur when a patient reduces or stops a drug after regular use.
