TRAMOSEATS is a modular seating system designed for trams and light-rail vehicles. It provides configurable interiors to balance seating capacity, passenger flow, and accessibility. The system uses standardized seat modules that can be arranged in longitudinal rows along the vehicle walls, in clusters facing each other, or in mixed configurations to suit routes and crowding patterns.

Developed by TramoTech Industries in collaboration with several transit authorities, TRAMOSEATS began in research projects in

Design features include lightweight, impact-resistant shells; high-density foam cushions; and upholstery rated for transit use. Mounting

Benefits cited include greater adaptability for peak demand, improved accessibility, easier maintenance, and the ability to

Variants include TRAMOSEATS Compact for shorter cars and TRAMOSEATS Max for longer vehicles or higher-occupancy routes.
