TAAD
TAAD, or Transient Absence with Amnesia for the Event, is a type of seizure disorder characterized by brief, sudden loss of consciousness and temporary memory loss for the event itself. These episodes typically last from a few seconds to a few minutes and are often triggered by stress, fatigue, or other external factors. Unlike other types of seizures, such as tonic-clonic or absence seizures, TAAD does not involve any motor activity or loss of awareness.
TAAD is often misdiagnosed as fainting spells or syncope, as the symptoms can be similar. However, unlike
