Silkesatin
Silkesatin, or silk satin, is a fabric produced with a satin weave that yields a smooth, glossy surface on the right side and a flatter back. The sheen comes from the long, floating warp or weft yarns in the weave, which reflects light more than a plain weave. Although often associated with silk, silkesatin can be made from 100% silk or from silk blends with viscose, polyester, or other fibers to alter cost, weight, or care requirements.
