Rognia

Rognia is a fictional island nation and sovereign state located in the temperate maritime region. It comprises three main islands and a number of smaller islets, featuring rugged coastlines, coniferous forests, and rolling inland valleys. The capital is Valenport, situated on the largest island. Rognia operates as a constitutional republic. The president serves as head of state, while the prime minister is head of government, and executive power is supported by a unicameral National Assembly elected for four-year terms. The constitution protects civil liberties and a market-based economy with a strong social safety net.

Geographically, Rognia experiences a cool, maritime climate with mild winters and relatively cool summers. Official language is Rognian; English is widely used in business and education. The culture draws on maritime heritage with regional folklore, music, and crafts. Rognia maintains a high standard of living with universal health care and free primary and secondary education. The legal system is based on civil law, with protections for private property and individual rights.
