Resorturile is a Romanian term that refers to resort destinations or complexes designed for leisure and tourism. In general, a resort is a place that combines accommodation, dining, recreation, and often wellness services to allow guests to stay for extended periods and enjoy a bundled experience. The phrase can describe both individual resort properties and broader resort towns or coastal or mountainous destinations.

Characteristics include location in attractive environments such as coasts, mountains, or lakes, and the provision of integrated facilities. Typical components are hotels or villas, restaurants, swimming pools, spa or wellness centers, sports facilities, entertainment options, and sometimes conference or event spaces. Resort models range from all-inclusive packages to more flexible, à la carte arrangements.

Types of resorts vary by setting and purpose. Seaside resorts cater to sun and water activities; mountain resorts focus on winter sports or summer hiking; spa towns emphasize balneotherapy and wellness; and many destinations combine multiple functions, offering accommodation, recreation, and business facilities.
