Prosthetised is a term in British English describing the state of being fitted with or supplied a prosthesis. It can function as a verb (to prosthetise) or as an adjective describing an individual who has been provided with a prosthesis. The term emphasizes the outcome of prosthetic intervention rather than the device itself. Etymology traces to prosthesis from Greek prosthesis 'a placing in addition' and the suffix -ised to form a past participle or adjective.

In scope, prosthetised applications span limb prostheses (such as transradial, transfemoral), dental prostheses (dentures, crowns, bridges), and, less commonly, ocular or facial prostheses.
