Pistosaha

Pistosaha is a genus of small, arboreal lizards belonging to the family Gekkonidae, commonly known as geckos. These lizards are native to the rainforests and cloud forests of Southeast Asia, with species found in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Pistosaha geckos are characterized by their slender bodies, large eyes adapted for nocturnal activity, and specialized toe pads that allow them to climb vertically and upside down on smooth surfaces.

The genus pistosaha contains several species, each with subtle variations in coloration, size, and habitat preference. Many species exhibit cryptic coloration, with patterns of brown, green, and gray that help them blend into their arboreal surroundings, providing camouflage from predators.
