Pantsing

Pantsing is a prank or act in which someone pulls another person's pants or underwear down, typically exposing the buttocks. The act is usually performed in public or semi-public settings and may be spontaneous or planned. It is generally regarded as a breach of personal boundaries and can be experienced as humiliating or threatening, even when intended as humor. The term is most commonly used in North America and other English-speaking regions and is primarily associated with school-age peer interactions, but can occur in other settings.

Legal and policy aspects: Depending on jurisdiction, pantsing may be treated as battery, assault, harassment, or a form of sexual harassment or abuse, especially when it involves minors, or when done in a sexualized way. Many schools and workplaces prohibit such behavior and impose disciplinary measures such as warnings, counseling, suspension, or expulsion; in some cases it can lead to formal charges. The acceptability of the act is highly contested, with many arguing that consent and context determine its appropriateness.
