Nyomóert

Nyomóert is a concept in mechanical engineering referring to a compact hydraulic actuator designed to convert electrical energy into precise linear motion in restricted spaces. The design combines a hydraulic cylinder, a modular valve block, and a closed-loop electronic controller to deliver programmable force and displacement. The name derives from nyomó, Hungarian for “to push,” combined with a suffix used in device naming.

In typical configurations, a nyomóert consists of a bore-sealed cylinder housing, a piston connected to a rod, hydraulic fluid in a sealed chamber, and a valve assembly that regulates fluid flow. Actuation is achieved by applying pressurized fluid to one side of the piston; return is provided by opposite-side pressure in a double-acting variant or by a spring in a single-acting form. The electronic controller uses feedback from pressure and position sensors to adjust valve opening, achieving a closed-loop control that tracks a target position or force profile.

Materials commonly used include stainless steel or aluminum for the housing, with seals in fluorocarbon or fluorosilicone compatible with the hydraulic fluid. The system emphasizes leak-tightness, thermal stability, and rapid response.

Applications include robotic grippers, compact automation cells, CNC machine clamps, and laboratory instrumentation where space is limited but precise force and motion control are required.
