Nelivetoisella is a freshwater fish belonging to the family Cyprinidae, commonly found in lakes and rivers across parts of northern Europe, particularly in regions of Finland and Scandinavia. Its scientific name is Leuciscus nelivetoisella, although it is sometimes grouped under the broader genus Leuciscus or related genera within the order Cypriniformes.

This species typically inhabits clear, well-oxygenated waters with abundant aquatic vegetation. It prefers environments with moderate to slow water flow and is often associated with shallow to middle-depth zones. Nelivetoisella plays a significant role in local aquatic ecosystems, functioning as both a prey species for larger predators and as a consumer of aquatic invertebrates, algae, and plant matter.
