Maniahypomania

Maniahypomania, also known as brief psychotic disorder with grandiose type, is a rare and severe mental health disorder characterized by episodes of grandiosity, elation, and a diminished need for sleep. This condition is a variant of brief psychotic disorder, which typically affects individuals who have experienced significant stress, trauma, or other triggering factors.

During an episode of maniahypomania, individuals may exhibit grandiose ideation, believing themselves to be of extraordinary importance or possessing special powers. They may also display marked elation, increased energy, and a diminished need for rest. Aggressive and irritable behavior, poor judgment, and impulsivity are common symptoms.
