A Lerntyp, or learning type, refers to an individual's preferred style of learning. While the concept is widely discussed in educational settings, it is important to note that the scientific evidence supporting distinct, fixed learning types is limited and debated among researchers. Nevertheless, understanding preferred learning approaches can be a helpful tool for both learners and educators.

Visual learners tend to process information best when presented in a graphical format, such as diagrams, charts, and videos. Educators sometimes attempt to cater to these different learning types by varying their teaching methods. For instance, a lesson might incorporate visual aids, group discussions, and opportunities for students to practice skills. Learners themselves can use this concept to identify strategies that enhance their comprehension and retention.
