Ledband
Ledband, or LED strip, refers to a flexible circuit board populated with multiple light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and often additional components such as resistors and current-limiting devices. They are designed as continuous reels or cuttable segments and are typically powered by low-voltage direct current, most commonly 12 V or 24 V. A protective silicone coating or resin may cover the LEDs for durability and moisture resistance.
LED strips come in several variants. Monochrome white strips produce a single color temperature, while RGB
Most strips require a constant voltage supply and are driven by a controller or LED driver. Dimming
Common uses include accent lighting under cabinets, cove lighting, backlighting for displays, signage, and automotive lighting.
