Lappfläns
Lappfläns, literally “Sámi fringe,” is a traditional decorative element found on Sámi clothing and textiles in the Nordic regions and the Kola Peninsula. The feature appears as fringed or tasselled edges added along hems, sleeves, belts, or along the seams of garments such as the gákti. It may be composed of wool, leather strips, or woven bands, and is often attached in rows or panels.
