Kuikens are the young offspring of domestic chickens. In Dutch, kuiken means chick, and kuikens refers to multiple young chickens. The term is commonly used in Dutch-speaking contexts to describe young fowl raised for eggs or meat, as well as to the chicks of other birds in some settings.
