Keloidprone

Keloidprone refers to an individual who is prone to forming keloids, which are a type of raised and thickened scar that can grow significantly beyond the original wound site. Keloids are a common complication of surgical procedures, cuts, burns, and other skin injuries. They are caused by an overactive wound healing process, which leads to an excessive production of collagen, a protein that gives skin its strength and elasticity.

Keloids can appear anywhere on the body, but they are most commonly found on the ears, shoulders, and chest. They can be painful, itchy, and tender to the touch. In some cases, keloids can become inflamed and red, and they may bleed when scratched or injured.

A keloidprone individual is someone who has a tendency to develop keloids in response to minor skin injuries, even if the wounds are minor.
