Interakciótervezés, often translated as Interaction Design, is a discipline focused on shaping the interaction between users and products. It encompasses the creation of interactive digital products, services, and environments. The core goal of interaction design is to create intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable user experiences. This involves understanding user needs, behaviors, and goals, and then designing interfaces and systems that effectively meet those needs.

Key principles of interaction design include clarity, consistency, feedback, and affordance. Clarity ensures that users understand what actions are possible and what the results will be. Consistency helps users build mental models by presenting similar elements and behaviors in predictable ways. Feedback informs users about the system's status and the outcomes of their actions. Affordance refers to the perceived properties of an object that suggest how it can be used.

The process of interaction design typically involves research, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Researchers gather insights into user needs and contexts. Ideation generates potential solutions. Prototyping allows designers to create tangible representations of their ideas, which can range from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity interactive mockups. Testing with actual users is crucial to identify usability issues and refine the design based on real-world feedback.

Interaction design is closely related to other disciplines such as user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, and human-computer interaction (HCI). While UX design provides a broader perspective on the overall user journey, UI design focuses specifically on the visual and aesthetic aspects of the interface. HCI is a more academic field that studies the design and use of computer technology, paying attention to the interfaces between people and computers. Interaction design sits at the intersection of these fields, focusing on the dynamic exchange between a user and a product.
