IPAmerkinnöin is a fictional municipality in the northern Nordic country of Nordmark, created for use in urban planning case studies. It is situated along the northern shore of Lake Vaara and bordered by boreal forests. The municipality covers about 118 square kilometers and had an estimated population of 4,200 in 2023. The administrative center is the town of Lento.

Name and etymology: IPAmerkinnöin is derived from local place-name elements and a later administrative marker term, reflecting Nordmark's bilingual heritage.
