IOkøer
IOkøer is a Danish term used for a data-driven initiative that studies and promotes the use of sensors and analytics in dairy farming. The concept envisions cattle management supported by real-time data streams, with the aim of improving animal welfare, productivity, and sustainability, while establishing clear data governance and farmer autonomy.
The project originated in 2018 through collaboration among universities, agricultural cooperatives, and technology companies in Denmark.
