Haaland

Erling Braut Haaland (born 21 July 2000) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Manchester City in the Premier League and the Norway national team. Known for pace, physicality and clinical finishing, he is widely regarded as one of the leading forwards of his generation.

Born in Leeds, England, where his father Alf-Inge Haaland played at the time, Haaland grew up in Bergen, Norway. He began his career with Bryne and Molde, making his first-team debut for Molde in 2017 at age 17 and establishing himself as a prolific goalscorer.

Haaland moved to Red Bull Salzburg in 2019, where he continued to score regularly in domestic competition and made an impact in Europe. In 2020 he transferred to Borussia Dortmund, further developing his reputation with continued goal-scoring and high-level performances in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League. In 2022 he joined Manchester City, where he has maintained a strong scoring run and contributed to the club’s success in domestic and European competitions.

Internationally, Haaland made his senior debut for Norway in 2019 at age 19 and has since been a regular member of the national team, contributing goals in major qualifying campaigns.
