HRprofiel

HRprofiel is a term used in human resources to describe a structured summary of the HR-related qualifications, skills, and experiences of an individual or the ideal attributes for an HR role. It can refer to two related concepts: an individual’s HR profile, typically presented as part of a CV or résumé tailored for HR positions, and a competency profile describing the ideal HR capabilities for a job or organizational function. The latter is often used as a benchmark in recruitment, selection, and people development.

A typical HRprofiel includes personal and contact information, a professional summary focused on HR objectives, a list of core HR competencies (such as talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, workforce planning, compliance), work experience in HR roles, education and professional certifications (for example CIPD, SHRM, PHR), and relevant systems experience (HRIS, ATS, LMS). It may also include languages and notable achievements.

Uses of the HRprofiel include defining the ideal candidate for an HR position, guiding recruitment and interviewing, supporting internal mobility and succession planning, informing training needs analysis, and providing input for salary benchmarking and workforce planning. Development and maintenance are typically done by HR professionals in collaboration with hiring managers and updated to reflect evolving HR practices and organizational strategy, often aligned with broader competency models and job descriptions.
