Endurmat

Endurmat products are commonly presented as gels, chews, bars, powders, or ready-to-drink beverages. They aim to replace energy and minerals lost through sweating and to support gastrointestinal comfort during activity. Nutritional formulations typically emphasize carbohydrate delivery at steady rates to maintain blood glucose and energy, and include electrolytes such as sodium and potassium, with varying amounts of protein, fat, fiber, and caffeine depending on the product and athlete preference.

Regulation and labeling of endurmat products follow general food and supplement rules, which vary by country. Because tolerances for digestive comfort, absorption speed, and taste differ among individuals, athletes are advised to test products in training and tailor fueling plans to the event duration, climate, and personal tolerance.
