Diagonalkryds
Diagonalkryds, or diagonal crosses, are crosses formed by two lines that run diagonally across a shape and intersect at its center. In many cases they take the form of an X, especially when the lines connect opposite corners of a polygon such as a square or rectangle. When the cross is rendered as two broad bands rather than thin lines, it is often called a saltire in heraldic terminology.
