CCP Games: CCP Games, originally Crowd Control Productions, is an Icelandic video game developer based in Reykjavik. It is best known for EVE Online, a 2003 space-themed massively multiplayer online game noted for its player-driven economy and large-scale conflicts. The studio also released titles such as DUST 514 and EVE Valkyrie. In 2016 it was acquired by Pearl Abyss and continues to develop and support EVE Online and related projects.

Central counterparty: In finance, a central counterparty (CCP) is a clearinghouse that interposes itself between trading counterparties to guarantee the performance of both sides of a trade. By novating obligations, a CCP reduces counterparty risk, enables multilateral netting, and provides risk management services. CCPs are regulated in many jurisdictions and play a central role in clearing derivatives and exchange-traded instruments.
