CADtiedosto is a term that refers to a file format used in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. These files store the geometric data, attributes, and potentially other information necessary to represent a 2D drawing or a 3D model. CAD software relies on these specialized file formats to create, edit, and view designs for a wide range of applications, including engineering, architecture, product design, and manufacturing.

Different CAD software packages often use proprietary file formats, meaning a file created in one program may not be directly compatible with another without conversion. Common proprietary formats include DWG (AutoCAD Drawing), DXF (Drawing Interchange Format), and STL (Stereolithography).
