Boverts

Boverts are a breed of domestic cat that originated in the United States. The breed was developed in the 1960s by crossing a British Shorthair with a Siamese cat. The resulting kittens were initially referred to as "Siamese Shorthairs," but the name was later changed to "Bovert" in honor of the breeder, Betty Overton. Boverts are recognized by the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) and the International Cat Association (TICA).

Boverts are generally healthy cats, but like all breeds, they can be prone to certain health issues. These may include dental problems, urinary tract issues, and certain genetic conditions. Regular veterinary care and a balanced diet can help ensure that Boverts live long, healthy lives.
