Avionicssubsystemen refers to the electronic systems used on aircraft, spacecraft, and satellites. These systems are responsible for a wide range of functions, including navigation, communication, flight control, display, and mission-specific operations. The term "avionics" is a portmanteau of "aviation" and "electronics."

A typical aircraft avionic system comprises several subsystems. The flight control system manages the aircraft's movement and stability. Navigation systems, such as GPS and inertial navigation systems, determine the aircraft's position and guide it. Communication systems enable voice and data exchange with air traffic control and other aircraft. The flight deck display system presents critical flight information to the pilot through screens, often referred to as glass cockpits. Other subsystems can include weather radar, terrain avoidance systems, and electronic warfare equipment.

In spacecraft and satellites, avionicssubsystemen perform similar functions but are tailored to the unique environment of space. These include command and data handling, attitude determination and control, power management, and payload support. The reliability and redundancy of avionicssubsystemen are paramount due to the critical nature of their functions and the often inaccessible environments in which they operate.
