Äärioikeistolaiset is Finnish terminology referring to political actors and ideologies positioned on the extreme right of the political spectrum. They are typically associated with ultranationalism, ethnocentrism or racial nationalism, racism and xenophobia, antisemitism or hostility toward minority groups, and anti-democratic attitudes or admiration for authoritarian rule. Many currents emphasize strong law-and-order policies, strict immigration controls, and the preservation of a supposed homogeneous national culture, sometimes coupled with opposition to liberal democratic values and multiculturalism.

The spectrum includes neo-Nazi, fascist and white-supremacist ideologies, as well as nationalist groups that do not explicitly embrace fascism but promote ethnonationalist policies and anti-immigration rhetoric. In practice, far-right actors in Finland have comprised a mix of small political associations, online networks, and clandestine groups. Activities associated with these actors range from propaganda dissemination and demonstrations to, in some cases, criminal acts or violence. Finnish authorities have prosecuted individuals for hate speech, incitement, and violent offenses linked to far-right extremism, and some organizations have been banned.

Historically, far-right currents have appeared in Finland at various times, but their influence on mainstream politics has generally been limited compared with some other European countries. The mainstream right, including parties such as the Finns Party (Perussuomalaiset), operates separately from extreme-right extremist organizations, though debates about immigration and national identity have occasionally blurred the lines and raised concern about fringe elements. Counter-extremism efforts in Finland focus on monitoring online networks, enforcement actions, and public education on democratic values and anti-racism.
