Értékvezérelt

Értékvezérelt is a Hungarian term describing a philosophy, strategy, or organizational approach in which decisions and actions are guided by a defined set of values and aimed at creating value for stakeholders. The concept is used across management, strategy, and product development to emphasize value creation over narrow cost control. It is often translated as “value-driven” or “value-based.”

In business usage, a value-driven organization structures strategy, operations, and governance around delivering value to customers, employees, owners, and society. Values may include customer value, quality, integrity, sustainability, and social impact. Performance measurement expands beyond short-term financial metrics to include indicators of value delivered to customers and other stakeholders, such as customer satisfaction, durability, or environmental impact.

Applications include értékvezérelt stratégia (value-driven strategy), értékvezérelt fejlesztés (value-driven development) in product management and software, and értékvezérelt menedzsment or érték-alapú governance. Value-based pricing and value-based management are common tools used to align incentives with the creation of long-term value rather than focusing solely on unit costs.

Limitations include the need for a clear, commonly accepted value framework, potential conflicts between different values (e.g., profitability vs. ethics), and challenges in measuring intangible value. Successful adoption often requires cultural alignment, transparent decision processes, and governance to balance diverse stakeholder interests.
