Átméretezését is a Hungarian term that translates to "resizing" or "scaling" in English. It refers to the process of changing the dimensions of an object, image, or data set. This can involve making something larger or smaller, or adjusting its proportions.

In digital contexts, átméretezését is commonly applied to images. This can be done to reduce file size for faster loading on websites, to fit an image within a specific layout, or to improve its appearance on different screen resolutions. When resizing an image, the software either interpolates new pixels to enlarge it or discards pixels to shrink it.
