Challenges facing vandløbsnettet include aging infrastructure, sedimentation, blockages, invasive species, nutrient pollution and climate-related changes in flood and drought patterns. Ongoing adaptation and restoration aim to enhance flood resilience, water quality and biodiversity while maintaining agricultural productivity.
