täristykset
Täristykset, often translated as tremors or vibrations, refer to the shaking or trembling of the ground. These phenomena can occur naturally or be induced by human activities. Natural täristykset are most commonly associated with seismic activity, such as earthquakes. When tectonic plates beneath the Earth's surface shift, they release energy that propagates as seismic waves, causing the ground to shake. Volcanic eruptions can also produce täristykset due to the movement of magma and gases within the volcano. Landslides and rockfalls can also generate localized tremors.
Human-induced täristykset are becoming increasingly prevalent. Mining operations, particularly those involving blasting, can cause significant vibrations.
