Tapahtumalähde, meaning "event source" in Finnish, is a software design pattern and architectural concept centered around the idea of events as the primary mechanism for communication and state management. Other parts of the system can then subscribe to these events and react accordingly. This promotes a decoupled and asynchronous architecture.

Components that are interested in these facts can consume them and update their own internal state or trigger further actions.
