Röntgentutkimus, also known as X-ray examination, is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to create images of the inside of the body. It is a widely used diagnostic tool in healthcare. The process involves exposing a part of the body to a controlled dose of X-rays. As the X-rays pass through the body, different tissues absorb them to varying degrees. Dense tissues like bone absorb more X-rays and appear white on the resulting image, while softer tissues like muscle and organs absorb fewer and appear in shades of gray. Air-filled spaces, such as the lungs, absorb very little and appear black.
The X-ray detector, often a digital sensor or photographic film, records the pattern of X-rays that have
