Privacyscherm, also known as a privacy screen or privacy filter, is a display accessory designed to limit the viewing angle of a screen so that content is readable only by someone directly in front of it. It is commonly used to prevent shoulder surfing in public or shared workspaces and to protect sensitive information from prying eyes, supporting privacy and security objectives in offices, healthcare settings, and finance sectors.

Most privacy screens are physical filters that attach to desktops or laptops. They use a micro-louver or similar shading technology to narrow the horizontal viewing angle, typically to around 30–60 degrees depending on the product.
