Podiumsysteem, literally a modular podium system, is a modular stage system used to create temporary raised platforms for performances, presentations, conferences, and other events. It is designed to be assembled, reconfigured, and disassembled quickly without specialized tools.

Typical components include deck panels or podium blocks, supporting legs or frames, connecting brackets, crossbars, stairs or ramps, and optional safety features such as guard rails and skirting. Materials vary by manufacturer but common choices are lightweight aluminum for portability and wood or high-density composites for durability and finish. Surfaces are often anti-slip and may be coated or faced with vinyl, plywood, or laminate.

The system is modular and scalable, allowing different heights, widths, and configurations to be created by combining multiple decks. It supports load-bearing requirements defined by the manufacturer and is designed to be level on uneven floors using adjustable legs and leveling feet.

Podiumsysteem is used in theaters, concert venues, schools, conference centers, television studios, trade shows, religious buildings, and outdoor events. It enables quick reconfiguration to accommodate acts of differing sizes and stage layouts; it also supports demountable seating or separated performance spaces when integrated with additional equipment.
