In practice, ohjaustehtävät typically include a task description with a defined goal, a sequence of steps or hints that gradually reduce support, and opportunities for reflection or feedback. They may incorporate worked examples, partially completed solutions, and explicit prompts to activate relevant prior knowledge. The level of scaffolding can be adjusted to suit different ages, subjects, and proficiency levels, with the intention of assisting students to internalize strategies rather than simply providing the correct answer.
