Mikrohubits are a theoretical unit of micro-scale information processing and storage proposed for integration into nanoscale and flexible electronics. A mikrohubit combines a compact processing core, an array of non-volatile memory cells, and a lightweight communication interface into a single lithographically defined module. The concept is used in discussions of ultra-dense edge computing and autonomous sensor networks.

In typical designs, a mikrohubit may employ memristive or spintronic memory, a small energy-efficient processor, and a radio or near-field communication link. The modules are intended to be fabricated at scales of micrometers and to operate on harvested or stored energy, enabling long-life operation in distributed systems.
