Keuhkopaineiden, a Finnish term, translates to "pulmonary hypertension" in English. It refers to a complex and serious condition characterized by high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs and the right side of the heart. Treatment aims to manage symptoms, slow the progression of the disease, and improve quality of life. It can involve medications to relax blood vessels, reduce blood clots, and manage fluid buildup.
