Installitud is a neologism used in information technology and systems engineering to denote the state of a system in which installation, configuration, verification, and readiness checks have been completed, and the system is prepared for normal operation. The term is a portmanteau-like construction combining “install” with the abstract-noun ending -itud, echoing similar formations in several languages. It is a relatively recent coinage in IT jargon and has no formal standard definition in major glossaries.
