Indiren is a traditional textile pattern and weaving technique associated with the fictional coastal region of Nysa in the archipelago of Lirion. The term is derived from the Nysanic words ind- meaning to interlace and ren meaning thread, and it denotes both the decorative motif and the method used to produce it. Indiren textiles are characterized by dense interlocking geometric motifs that resemble waves and lattice grids, created on back-strap and frame looms with a supplementary weft approach.

Historically, Indiren emerged in coastal trading communities as a marker of craft specialization. Weaving was typically carried out by women and elders, who produced ceremonial garments for rites, as well as everyday cloth for markets. The color palette relied on locally sourced natural dyes, including indigo, madder, and plant yellows, producing durable, fast hues.

In contemporary handicraft practice, Indiren has experienced a revival through cooperatives and design studios.
