In modern political discourse, the term is used broadly to describe a spectrum of right-leaning ideologies, including conservatism, libertarianism, nationalism, and authoritarianism. Hægrir often advocate for policies that prioritize individual liberty, economic efficiency, and social order, while opposing progressive reforms such as expansive welfare programs, strict environmental regulations, or cultural shifts perceived as disruptive to traditional norms.
